1074 (Ellesmere Port) Squadron Air Training Corps are having the Third new recruit intake of the year on September 29 2009 at 19.30hrs at the Squadron Headquarters on Coronation Road, Ellesmere Port (behind the Grace Arms and next to the builder's merchants).
New Cadets aged 13 -18 at 1074 Squadron take part in a 16 week recruit training programme which involves lots of different subjects from first aid to drill and leadership activities. Once you have passed your basic training you are eligible to be selected for flying and gliding at RAF Woodvale. Cadets from 1074 have taken part in lots of fun activities this year including Paragliding, camps in Germany, flying, gliding, shooting, sport and much much more.
