We are a Scout Group offering fun and adventure to boys and girls from 6-25 years.
Recent Events: Camp with Rafting,Orienteering, Low Ropes Course, Bell Boating on the Dee, Narrow Boat Camp around Four Counties Ring, Visit to Crocky Trail & Drayton Manor.
Future Events: Camp with Climbing, Archery and Grass Sledging, International Camp in Cheshire in 2010, District Centenary Camp Gangshow, Swimming Galas, Craft Competions, Treasure Hunts.

Pointe Works ballet classes

Pointe Works offers ballet classes to both children and adults in the Tarporley and Eaton areas. Children can start as young as 2.5 years and there is no upper age limit.

Oxfam Chester is a bustling shop in the heart of the city. We pride ourselves on being a specialist bookshop, and we also have a wide fashion range. We are run by volunteers and always need an extra hand, do get in touch! Oxfam works with others to overcome poverty and suffering across the world, saving lives by responding swiftly to provide aid, support and protection during emergencies and, in the longer term, developing programmes and solutions that empower people to work their way out of poverty.

Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership

The Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership was founded in 2003 and exists to engage communities in creative development projects in the railway environment along the Mid Cheshire Line (Chester to Manchester via Northwich). The Partnership is funded by several local authorities and railway industry partners. Our aim is to develop perceptions of railway stations as community assets. We have been recognised with national and regional awards for innovation in community engagement projects and have recently won significant funding from Cheshire's Year of the Garden 08 to implement an entire line 'community stations garden project' at the majority of stations on the line.

Chester & District Fuchsia Society

We are a fuchsia society and we have monthly meetings (on the third Tuesday). Each month a guest speaker talks about fuchsias (all aspects) or general gardening topics. We have coach trips; a Christmas scoial evening; members' nights (how to grow, cultivate, show etc). Our meetings are held in St Werburgh's Social Club, Brook Street, Chester (a licensed premises), where we enjoy a good evening out in the company of friends and fellow growers.

City of Chester Male Voice Choir

The Choir is a typical male voice choir singing in four part harmony. The repertoire is mainly light music from the shows together with some light classics. The Choir rehearses Wednesday and Sunday evenings in Hamilton Street Methodist Church. Come and join us to sing rousing music and take part in concerts to raise funds for charities.
